HAPPY PATIENT supports European Antibiotic Awareness Day

In Europe, around 35,000 individuals die annually to antimicrobial resistance, primarily stemming from the inappropriate use of antibiotics. This poses a public health dilemma necessitating immediate actions to safeguard the well-being of the population.

In this context, HAPPY PATIENT has played a role in enhancing the correct prescription and dispensation of antibiotics. This Friday, on November 24, the team will unveil the outcomes achieved after three years of rigorous efforts throughout Europe.

In conjunction with the European Antibiotic Awareness Day observed this Saturday and the commencement of the World Antibiotic Awareness Week (18-24/11), orchestrated by the World Health Organization (WHO), HAPPY PATIENT is committed to aligning with both awareness campaigns. The aim is to highlight a health predicament that could significantly impact forthcoming generations.

We’d also like to remind you that on December 1, we will unveil the outcomes of the HAPPY PATIENT project during a final conference in Barcelona. More details about the conference can be found here.
